National veteran leadership meeting highlighting Louisiana’s commitment to serving veterans

Alexandria, La.  – The American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are holding their Mid-Winter Conventions in Alexandria. As part of those conventions, national leadership from both organizations will meet with the Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs for discussions related to veteran advocacy, benefits, and collaboration. This is an incredible opportunity to Alexandria to showcase this annual event where they become the focal point for national veteran leadership discussions. The Secretary’s participation demonstrates Louisiana’s commitment to collaboration with veteran service organizations that play a critical role in advocacy and support for veterans and their families.
