NGALA to Present Holiday Donation to Louisiana Veterans Homes

RESERVE, La.  – The National Guard Association of Louisiana (NGALA) will present a holiday donation to the Louisiana Veterans Homes during a check presentation scheduled for Friday at 11:00 a.m. The donation reflects NGALA’s continued commitment to supporting Louisiana’s veterans and the facilities that serve them.

The presentation will be made on behalf of NGALA President Col. Ignacio Assaf, the NGALA Executive Council, and its membership. Dr. Jerome Buller, Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs, will be present to receive the donation on behalf of LDVA and Louisiana Veterans Homes statewide.

“As a combat and disabled Veteran myself, along with many of our NGALA council members and our association members, we value your existence and respect your commitment to manage and provide the most outstanding services to the hundreds of veterans residing in the VA Homes throughout Louisiana!” said COL Will Santos, LASG.

The donation comes at a meaningful time during the holiday season and underscores NGALA’s long-standing partnership with LDVA in honoring and supporting Louisiana’s veterans.

LDVA extends its sincere appreciation to NGALA for its generosity and continued commitment to those who served.
