Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery

The Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, which opened in February of 2012, sits on 204 acres with rolling hills of green grass and beautifully landscaped property near Fort Polk. The staff works hard to maintain the cemetery in a manner that reflects respect of the veterans and their family members, and provides a veterans cemetery that is compliant with the National Cemetery Administration.

Our Carillon Bell Tower was donated by AMVETS with contributions from both national and state levels. The bell tower can play military service hymns, traditional hymns and seasonal selections, and is situated in a tranquil location along Memorial Walk where visitors may reflect and remember their loved ones.

How to Help

We welcome volunteers who want to honor our veterans by helping to maintain the dignity of our cemetery grounds. Volunteers are especially appreciated on event days such as Memorial Day and Wreaths Across America Day, where extra hands help make these important ceremonies possible. We also accept weekday volunteers to assist with tasks such as cleaning headstones, planting flowers, weeding and general grounds maintenance. Contact us to find out how you can help.
