Dustin Guy has served the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs (LDVA) since 2012, holding key leadership roles including Human Resources Director, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Chief of Staff. In these capacities, he has provided strategic oversight of the department’s personnel, operations, and program management, helping to advance the Secretary’s vision of making Louisiana the most veteran-friendly state in the nation.
Guy is deeply committed to supporting those who have served, working to strengthen LDVA’s mission of delivering comprehensive care, benefits, and services to Louisiana’s veteran community. During his tenure, LDVA’s budget has nearly doubled, enabling significant expansion of programs and services that improve the quality of life for veterans and their families across the state.
Guy brings more than 20 years of experience in public service with the State of Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He has also been a certified Professional in Human Resources since 2010.
