Col. William “Bill” Morgan, USMCR (Ret.)
Author of “Haze Gray and Underway: Sea Stories of the US Marines”
Colonel Bill Morgan is a 30 year Marine Corps veteran with service in over 25 countries on five continents including three combat tours. His passion for the Marine Corps and his fellow service members stems from a lifetime in the military. His father, Colonel Ira L. “Shine” Morgan, Jr., a highly decorated Marine Corps jet fighter pilot has served as much of his inspiration. From VMFA-323 and MAG-32 of his Dad’s career, to Battalion Landing Team 3/8 and 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, to many other Navy and Marine Corps units, Bill Morgan has collected sea stories from several generations and is pleased to share them with everyone.
